So ever since my Tundra was lifted it’s had an extremely annoying squeak / noise coming from the shackle area on any surface, even worse on bumps. First Toytec told me I needed their bushings to fix it, negative. Put them on and they were literally oozing out with grease and it still squeaked.

Well, I removed the spare and looked around and sure enough there was a bed bolt on each side hitting the shackle. One thing to note, I have them installed at 1.25”, if they were installed at 1.5” they might not hit.

Anyway, a Dremel with a 426 disc later the bolt is grounded down and the squeak is gone. I can finally roll my rear window down and drive through a parking lot without it sounding like a hoopty.

I'v heard of that issue before. I myself have a creaking sound coming from the rear passenger side and it's annoying as hell but I still have stock leafs/shackles so probably different issue.

I'm @ 1.5" setting as well, mine was squeaking like a pig too on the lower setting. Rubbing the bed bolt. That and the Line-X guys finger tightened my bed bolts. Lazy asses!

On the shackle bolts? It’s not needed as they use a locking type nut.

I'm stock with the rear right squeak. Just checked to see if there's a clearance issue, plenty of clearance with the bolt. The spare tire however, is really loud when I I lift the rear up and down.

I just realized he had a 2006 and I have a 2019. I wonder if it’s going to be the same result.

Same. The bed studs can interfere with the Toytec shackles set at 1".

Okay, I just took a video while driving and I think the clunking noise is coming from the front and then there’s a squeaking noise coming from the back

Same thing happened to my 2017, no need to be grinding anything away. Just take the bolt out and add a couple steel washers to the top as a spacer and reinstall the bolt.
