Greetings. Proud owner of Toyota trucks since the late 70's. I currently own and drive a 1996 T100 SR5 that I bought new and, my reason for being here, a 2006 Tundra crew cab SR5 that I bought new, also.

Of course, as is my usual protocol I only join forums when I have an issue. In this case my low beams don't function on my '06 Tundra and I'll be perusing the forums looking for some clues.

I believe each headlight has a separate fuse for left hi, left lo, right lo and right hi. 4 in total. If both lows are out and the highs are staying on, I would start at the relay that switches between pairs, may be stuck. Find it and tap it with pliers, see if they flash on. Seems like the easiest spot besides the fuses but a double fuse loss is probably not likely. I would start there since hi and lo share a feed but split at this point. If tapping the relay does nothing, check voltage in and out of relay for the headlight feed (R-B), We know 4 to 3 should be good because you have Hi but check it anyway, then check 4 to 1. If voltage is not leaving 4 to 1 for the low beams (when on low beam setting), check voltage to the relay coil. Operate the high and low beams and see if the coil is receiving the control voltage (2) to energize and switch the coil. Follow accordingly

Welcome to the forum. A double bulb failure is possible. Most won’t notice the first bulb go out. When the second one goes, no headlight output. Check the bulbs first. Then the fuses. Then the switch. Grounds are also a possible culprit. Any other info on the truck in relation to mods that may affect the lights? The later 05-06 models are finicky with voltage for the lights. Not happy with LED’s in some locations.
