BLUF: how can I fix this leak that doesn't look like a hack job?

Background: I bought my 2020 Tundra that had a Toyota-branded trifold on it. That trifold broke and it was a fight to get the dealership to replace it (warranty issue). Well, they did, but this new one leaks badly, but not from the corners. It leaks from the folds. Picture attached. I don't feel like starting yet another struggle with the dealership given the difficulty and energy it took last time. So, what are my options? I figure I could caulk it from the inside, but then water might get trapped. I could caulk it on the outside, but that won't look very good.

Maybe there is an option that it was assembled properly and if I take it apart int he right spots I could fix it that way. I don't know. You all know more about these things than me, so what are your thoughts?

    Thanks!

I also posted this in the tonneau forum but haven't had anyone weigh in. Trying here also.

I could be wrong, but if you're looking for a 100% leak free bed cover.... you might want to keep looking. Once again I could be wrong, but I thought they all either leak a little, or develop a leak after many years. Is yours a little leak or does your bed get completely soaked with just a little water?

No no. I am okay with a little water getting through. But mine is ridiculous. After the lightest of rains, there is standing water back there. It's almost as if a seal or gasket or something isn't even there or is misaligned or something.

It's a pain, but I'd take it back to the dealer. Maybe they can credit you / Cashback / or something. It doesn't seem like there are many people have had the repair experience.
