HEB has sales on C4's and Ghosts all of the time. I picked up 4 cases of C4 when they were doing a buy 1 get 1 deal. C4 also does sales every now and then when you get it directly from them for pretty cheap. The caffeine is the only thing I have to take the edge off of my migraines. But yeah, I'm thinking we are equals in that regard.

 

I freaking hope so. I'm tired of this shit.

I haven't tried the C4 energy drink. Is it decent? I think a lot of us mainline caffeine hahaha

 

So slightly off topic post, but this forum and this Mafia Family are awesome. Its a crazy world out there but its great having crew supporting crew.

Shit went down at my work (thankfully after I left and while I was sleeping at home) but @Squatting Pigeon was hitting me up as soon as he heard on the news to make sure I was good. Its always good to know folks care and have your back!

My two favorites are Ghost and C4 and I've tried just about everything but Zoa. I'll probably get one of those to test tomorrow when I get groceries.

Man, maybe I just need to try more. The Ghost just looked comical to me and I never took them seriously. But I'll try some Ghost and C4 now. Any flavors that are a must or a hard pass?

You have more energy drinks in stock than I've drank in probably 15 years. I might have one per year if I'm on a 12+ hour road trip and need to push through the night.

 

I love the Ghost Orange Cream soda, Sour Patch Blue Raspberry, and (believe it or not) the Swedish Fish flavor is pretty good. The first couple of cans of Strawberry Splash Bubblicious were pretty good but it left a weird aftertaste.

C4 - The Lemon Starburst is my favorite but all of the Starburst are good, so is the Skittles flavor. Hell, pretty much all of the C4 flavors are good. I order them in bulk and then get tired of them and switch back and forth with Ghost.

 

22 years of daily migraines. The VA won't give out controlled substances any more so I'm self-medicating with Caffeine. It's usually just one energy drink a day and I buy them in bulk when I can. The Mountain Dews are for my daughter. Plus, aren't you only toddler sized?

 

Damn, that sucks. Friggen docs eh? I'm slightly bigger than your average toddler, but not by much.

 

I think it's more the Pharmacists in the VA system at this point. My Neurologist keeps trying to get me stuff that might work and they say I can't have it.

 

They must have you flagged for some reason. I get why they don't want to keep giving narcotics but it should be the doc who makes that decision, not the pharmacist. That's my layman opinion anyway.

I had my doc check the last time I was there - no flags. It used to be that you'd walk in and say my back hurt, then walk out with a jar full of addictive shit. I knew better than to take more than I needed but a lot of Vets didn't have that ability for one reason or another. Their solution seemed to be to just stop giving it out, which is cool. It seems to be a money issue and I can understand that also but it would be nice to have some kind of abortive I could take for my migraines without being on a medication that would make me fat, bald, and impotent.

 

It actually makes them worse. I'm just fucked up.
