Been an Oakley Flak Jacket XL guy for years…still on the original frames I bought right after they came out. On my fourth set of ear socks and second set of lenses for them. Before those, I had a set of Oakley square wires (still have them - keep them in the truck as spares), and before that a pair of Oakley Sub-Zeros (back in 1992). I’ve also got Oakley Det Cords for my outside safety glasses.

I also have pretty sensitive eyes, and can’t stand to not have polarized lenses.

 

I may have to get those.

So what’s the going rate on teeth these days? A silver dollar(that’s what we used to get), a dollar, two dollars, 10 dollars, 20 dollars? Have tooth ferry rates gone up just like everything else?
My son lost his first tooth last night, he was stoked to say the least!!

we personally have done $5 for the first, then $1 for each after. We did do $2 on the last one cuz she pulled it herself.
We had a come to jesus meeting before because she'd go to school and hear these kids that were getting $100 and $50 for a tooth! i get it, she goes to a private school where people have more disposable income, but WTF?!

We just went through this lol. Wife did $20 for the first and $5 for the second so far. I thought that was way too much, but I guess inflation is a bitch…

 

I guess we got off lucky with 2$. I think he was more excited to just loose the tooth. Her and I both have decent teeth, hopefully he won’t need braces.

My kids know we have money, but no concept of how much. I tell them we're blessed enough to have the things we need as well as some luxuries.

 

I tell my kids we’re broke, so they appreciate the little things.

but im comparison to some of the people we send our kids to school with....we may be. wife and I tell each other we're the poor people at the school (jokingly)

Damn - need to keep JR away from my kids!!! We did $3 or $5 for the first one and then moved to either $1 or a pack of gum. Need the money for boat gas and truck mods.
