so I have a couple questions surrounding this. Looking at the photos from previous year I don’t see too many rigs equipped with shower setups. I get roughing it for a day or two but a week is kinda a long time. Wasn’t sure if you all pitched in for a water truck to show up midweek and hose everyone down? Or if everyone did group showers or simply a gallon jug dumped on your head? Just trying to gauge the comfort level among us Tundra owners..

Damn group showers might be fun!

so my boys do trucker baths in a bussers tote, and we do solar bag showers.

I think this dude is trying to politely say, 'I'll give you guys a day or two then I'm done hangin' out w/y'all once you start to get stinky and your hygiene is lacking... yes, i'll have full services in my trailer; but, no it's not a community facility':rofl::rofl:

I don't want any of you weirdos anywhere near my banana. I'll shower in my travel trailer, by myself, with the door locked.

For the travel trailer crew actual showers... for us rtt types and most tent campers with out shower set-ups it is wet wipe showers or stove heated water in a privacy tent.

I have a Geyser shower system. It is very boujee and a little pricey, but after researching different setups I decided it would work great for me. I've used it 4-5 times in the last few months since I got it, so still getting used to it. The Geyser has a built in pump and water heater all in a sealed unit. They also have a slightly cheaper one that only has a water pump and no heater. I can heat the water in it while I'm off-roading or whatever, it heats water at a rate of 0.8 degrees per minute. You can obviously heat extra water on a propane stove if you need more hot water than what it holds. If you're on the go, you could pour the heated water in a thermos and heat more up.

At T2S, I'll probably fill up two 5 gal solar showers on the way and set them in the sun just to supplement hot water. Previously on longer trips I'd do solar showers or trucker baths -- or splurge and spend $13-15 at a clean hot truck stop shower.

Used to backpacking for a week or more with nothing but what I can carry on my back. A roll of TP and some wet wipes and I’m GTG… maybe some deodorant if I really get ripe.

Lol my friends that did the AT told me there’s a reason thru hikers don’t shake hands. I’ve always camped near lakes and rivers and longest I’ve gone since moving to the SW is 2 night and always just did without.

that being said.. I used a gift certificate I had to Lowe’s today to pick up a camplux :yay:
