Is it ok to tow with P295 vs LT295?

I dont think I’ve ever seen a P rated 295 width tire. What kind of tire is it?

Load index is what you need to consider when picking a tire for hauling or towing. Can you tow with a lower index tire? Sure....but you have to factor in the weight of the truck as well.

I think based solely on the weight of the truck alone (~6000lbs)... they should ALL have LT tires on them from the factory.

My Terra Grapplers are 12-ply rated LT's.

No problem towing with a P load tire, that is what comes on Tundras stock. P load "standard load" tires support more weight at lower pressure vs LT tires. LT tires require more air pressure. You will be good to go.
