I believe these are your specs......

    6,400 to 10,300 lbs

Based on that I would say yes.
***Do you have the trailering package?

I was thinking of these because I'm not towing that often.

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
What engine do you have? I would assume the 5.7 (not sure if the 4.6 was an option on an SR5).
Get a weight distribution hitch. Just as an example here https://www.equalizerhitch.com/

I have the same truck, my trailer is rated at 7500 dry weight. Put in Tow/Haul mode and its just fine. get ready for gas mileage to go down.

X2 on the Equalizer. My buddy has a Reese on his Cummins that he has to disconnect everytime he backs up. The chain style also need to incorporate another system just for anti-sway. The equalizer does everything with the 2 bars.

What is your max payload on the yellow sticker next to door jam? Tundras have pretty low max payloads thus you will likely reach this limit before ever needing to worry about the towing capabilities of the 5.7.

I think I saw a video that Toyota factors weight distribution before they set the weights may look at that

The only thing you should look at is max payload which is the yellow sticker. U will likely be overloaded if u have a wife and kids in the truck with you. Tow ratings are pointless with half ton trucks as u will almost always go over max payload before reaching ur max tow rating. Is that 7400 dry or loaded down?

I was thinking (dangerous) why would the crew max tow less shouldn't they be built on the same chassis as the duel cab?

The CM has a lower rating because it is overall heavier
