I have a 2010 SR5 Off Road that I just added these tow mirrors to:

ECCPP for Toyota Tundra Towing Mirrors Rear View Mirrors for 2007-2015 Toyota Tundra Truck with Power Heated Reflector Turn Signal Manual Extending and Black Texture Housing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FR59XDV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qR50CbKV9PH08

When I plugged them in I expected that the backup lights wouldn’t work (and will wire that in) but did think that the front turn signal/marker lights were factory wired and they don’t seem to be?

Anyone added tow mirrors to a truck that didn’t have them and have to re-wire things??

To the best of my knowledge, if you have the tow package your truck should be prewired for the marker lights and blinkers on the tow mirrors.

That was my thinking also @MotoTundra but they don’t work after being plugged in. The power adjust and signals in the mirror lenses work great but not the forward facing ambers

I did a novice write up on adding the drl to the tow mirrors (the lower led) as the platinums are for some reason not wired for this. You can use my write up tho to diagnose your problem. You need to get a 22 gauge wire up to the harness, stab it through and empty slot, plug it in and test...take a peek at my write up. Very strange though that you’re not wired for a turn signal, I hope you’ve tried both mirrors to make sure one isn’t just defective...

@Jrharvey02, thank you very much!!! I’ll read through that and I’m sure I can then figure it out!

I came across this thread, which I previously commented in, and must have forgotten about.

Seems you must have a higher trim level than SR5?

No fixes in this thread unfortunately, but it is normal with higher trims.

Bump for anyone who’s had this exact issue... I’m still planning to use the above info and figure it out but if someone already has I’d rather not waste my time

Did you end up figuring this out? If so, how? I'm having the same issue.
