I've got a third gen and am searching for PIDs to use with the TorquePro app. Tacoma forums are replete with PID files for the TorquePro but I haven't seen anything on Google for the Tundra.

Anybody have or know where I can find PIDs for third generation Tundras?

    Greetings,
    For Gen 3:
    PID is 2182
    Equation is:
    ((((A*256)+B)*(7/100)-400)/10) for pan temperature
For torque conv., use C and D respectively in above eq.
    Range is 0-300
    Multiplier is X1
    Unit is deg. F

    Good luck.

I've gotten the trans temps working

Has anybody figured out oil pressure? How about torque converter locked /unlocked??

I gave up on Torque Pro and moved over to OBD Fusion. I think I ended up paying $10 for the app (iOS is $10, I think it’s $3-4 for Android...) and another $10 for the Toyota expansion pack. It was well worth it. The app itself works much better and the expansion pack has a ton of PIDs ready to go, including gear shift status and TC lock.

If OBD Fusion had widgets, it would be perfect.

I still mess with OBD Fusion from time to time but gave up mostly on it for a ScanGaugeII :) Mounted to the top of the steering column with a 3d printed mount I made.

@2015sr5tundra -I know it’s been years but where did you get this screen grab of PIDs? I’m desperately searching for Gen3 Tundra PIDs that are missing in the OBD2 Apps. Thx!

This is from back before Toyota decided there wasn’t actually a 3rd gen Tundra already released, and the 2.5 gen was known colloquially as the 3rd Gen.

Ah, that makes sense with the reference to 3rd Gen in 2019.
Still like to know what App's black screen that is listing PID equations.
If it still exists today, maybe the elusive 3rd Gen PIDs Im searching for are in there.
I'm actively in discussions with OBD Fusion right now about our missing PIDs in their App.

It looks like TorquePro to me.

I’m surprised OBD Fusion hasn’t figured out the current gen yet, though.
