Anyone from the Titonka Iowa area on here?

I might be accepting a job there and wanted to get some housing info and area info.

I never even heard of that town before lol I’d assume most people are in Algona or forest city as they are bigger towns.

looking at Zillow, theres 3 houses for sale, 2 from before 1940 and one $350k farm.

It’s fairly rural up there. Small towns and farming communities.

Yeah I was looking on Zillow too. They said it would be a small area. I guess I will have to make a trip out there to check it out. Thanks for the response

Whew, that is rural up there! I've had to visit several construction sites in Iowa, and being railroads, they always seem to be in the most remote areas. But looking at the map, Titonka looks more remote than other places I've been lol. Good luck!

lol thanks. I would be working on a national wildlife refuge. They gave me a heads up it would be rural so housing might be a challenge.

Sorry real late to this. Bancroft would also be an option. Lots of nice people around there. It is a bit remote. Algona will be your closest town with the most amenities. It's a pretty good town.

    Enjoy Union Slough.
