Long story short: trucks been sitting for 6 months waiting on fox coils. I drive it up and down the driveway once every 2 weeks. Today I decided to take it for a longer drive around the neighborhood and my tires sounded like rubber boots on the floor. Am I going to need new tires? They’re nitto ridge grapplers with less than 5k miles. Also I have a slight grinding noise coming from my passenger side wheel well. Waiting on these parts is going to end up costing me even more money I feel.

I don't think you need new tires, not sure why they sound squeaky.... Maybe She is just crying -- please drive me I can't stand still any longer.

Rust build up on brake rotors from sitting, caliper pins maybe rusty too.

The grinding - flat, curves, turns or? Did you do a CMC?

We have had rains here in Houston for a bit. I’m also experiencing a slight drone from the passenger side when I’m braking and the wheels are turned at a specific angle. This has happened since my friend and I changed out the coil overs and realized they wouldn’t work so I parked it. Any idea what that could be? Closest thing I found online was a Tacoma forum and they said it was the brake heat shield.

All the above. We did a CMC awhile back when I got my tires around December, sprayed it with rustolium primer and then painted it black to match. I still rubbed a little bit, how would the CMC be related to these issues? :bananadead:

I miss driving her…. She just sits there as I get in my roommates car every morning. I feel like I’m cheating on a vehicle lol

If you didn’t get the CMC was wondering if that’s the grinding.

    Also check your brake calipers

gotcha. Yeah, once I put 35's on her I could barely turn out of the discount tire parking lot, didn't realize I would need a CMC until posting on here. I need to get better about doing research before adding onto my truck lol.
