I bought a black 2018 SR5 sport (20" rims) a few weeks ago and was able to do some immediate things - tint, bedliner, and blacked out emblems. I wasn't able to negotiate KO2s into the deal. Tires were the last of the upgrades for now, with a tonneau cover or Leer cap next in 2019.

So I'm getting tires for my birthday. I have KO2s on my Tacoma and they've been the best tires I've used for Colorado driving. I assumed that's what I would get, but thought I would ask to see if I'm missing something. The KO2s are spendy.

    Thanks.

I recently bought a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W, 275/60/R20.
55K mile tread warranty. Very reasonably priced. Nice aggressive All Terrain
Look them up and see what you think.

I’ve been all over the place with this same question. Currently I’m thinking Cooper AT3 XLTs. Also considering the Falkens, BFG K02 and Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

    None yet...
I liked the KO2s on my Tacoma, but they fling up a lot of rocks in my experience!!

18"X9" FN BFD's rims, 295/70R/18E Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's, and S/T Maxx's, upgraded to Old Man EMU coil-overs/shocks. Toytec shackles. Custom dual true dual exhaust. Body Armor Rock Steps, Smittybilt X20 winch, DV8 winch bumper,RCI skids.
I'm using Cooper STT PRO M/T's and ST Maxx's here in Colorado. If you ever make it to a ToyTec sponsored CO FJ Cruisers Assciation event or ToyTec's Customer Appreciation Day you will see the majority of rigs are running with Coopers. Mainly the STT M/Ts. Ideal if you get out and about here up in the "hills".
