hey guys. So I was thinking of putting 35s on my Stormtrooper. I have a 4” suspension tuff country lift and a dv8 off road bumper. I’m planning on getting 1.5” bora spacers. Possibly 2” but not sure yet. I don’t want to go over 2”. However if I can go bigger on tires with that setup I’d love to. Honestly wouldn’t mind some 40s but I might be asking too much. I don’t want to cut much or anything at all.

My front bumper gives me a lot more clearance in the front. The back is what other forums said I should be concerned with. I don’t want to do major permanent modifications to the frame or body if possible. Let me know why you guys know or think. I’ve read of forties on 4” lifts so I think it’s possible. Thanks!3CE23628-98D8-4DB8-93DD-2D8876C1AD6A.jpg4A60E9D4-0A24-4C87-8F3D-43CF9B853608.jpgC9A2F97D-C63C-4930-813C-99BB9C08C3F0.jpg

You might as well Icon that storm trooper up to help carry the load!

Would I have to change my whole lift kit for that or just my suspension? Would it be bad to keep running the tuff country instead

Do you go off road and use the truck? I am by no means an expert but if you aren't upgrading the suspension and just doing lift with big tires you might be sacrificing longevity and ride quality, and for sure performance. You might repost in the suspension section and get some advice. There's some really knowledgeable guys on here..they sure talked me in to spending the money on suspension but I go off road a bunch.

I do go off road a bit and tow as well. I’ll copy this over there then as well. Thank you!

2016 CM Limited 4X4. I am considering a 3/1 or 2" leveling kit to fit larger wheels and all terrain tires. Not a serious offroader but so some light (beach mostly) I still want to pull a 7500 lbs bumper pull trainer, suggestions? Concerns?

You might post this in another location too. Do you have the tow package on your truck? I have a 2014 and when I'm towing really heavy the computer hates it and can't find the right gear. It scares the hell out of me. 5k and under does pretty good. Not sure what tires you're getting and I'm sure there is a million opinions but I've had Nitto's on every truck I've owned and love them. I'm going to 35's today with 3" of suspension so I'll be curious on towing as well. You might upgrade your leaf pack if you are gonna tow a lot.

I'm no expert by any means, but I don't think you are going to fit 40's on there without some pretty serious cutting. I would probably look at getting a different wheel to run a big tire like that rather than 2" wheel spacers, but that's just me.

I didn't know you were on here. You can get 37s on there. Need body mount chop. Wheels spacers will make it harder to fit. Want to stay +20 - +35mm offset less trimming
