How fast (next day/a few days) after towing do you drop your tire pressure back to normal after towing. I was just wondering if driving around at Max inflation(80lbs) would be bad for my tires.

You shouldn’t be driving around at max pressure. You have to take into account expansion from heat. More heat is generated especially during towing. You shouldn’t be exceeding 65-70 psi for towing and anything more than 55-60 unloaded will just ride like shit.

Yes. It is bad for your tires and not safe for you and everybody else on the road.

I usually drop my pressures down the same day as part of my unloading the rv process.

I can say I have never ran Max Pressure while towing my camper I usually pump up the rears to about 60 lb maybe 65 Max depending on how much load I have when my regular tire pressure is 40

I worry more about the trailer tires than the tundra's!
