    Hey all,

After going in reverse and pulling forward about ten feet or so, I hear a thunk under my truck. It didn't start happening until the lift, wheels and tires went on. I think it's happening somewhere under the drivers seat area. I've had it back to the dealership who installed my setup twice and they can't figure out what it is.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

    Yeah man. Big problem!

You just ran over me and I’m stuck under the truck. Help! I’m hung up in the suspension!

Are you sure it's not the ABS self test?

This needs to be run-to-ground before we go any further.

I hear the same on my truck and have always wondered what it was. Never tried to diagnose though.

I have no idea. I rode around with one of the mechanics and showed them and they said, yes, that's a problem. I would assume they would know what an ABS test is and that it's normal? At the same time, it never happened before we messed with the truck. So I don't effing know...

What is your lift and is the rear lifted as well? Folks have mentioned the ABS self test can be similar to what you are experiencing but that would have also been happening when the truck was stock. If you lifted the rear did you install a carrier bearing drop?

Sounds like the ABS test clunk. They all do it.

everytime you start your truck there is a clunk at 5 mph(ABS Test).......if it happens anytime after that its something else.
