This question is for our plumbing experts. Upgrading my throne and was wondering if going with a waxless ring is a good move. Thanks for any suggestions and opinions :)

I've always used "Johnny Ring" XL's Wax Rings. If it's not broke don't fix it!

It's broke, and it's a round bowl, time to move up to elongated. It's my guest bathroom. That's the least I can do for family and friends. Hahaha.

It all depends on how your floor sits. I've had the non wax rings give me problems with stability. Happened three times so decided to just stick with wax rings.

Go with wax. Proven crapper technology. Also go with an extra tall elongated bowl with a seat-split. The wife may not understand, but you will....

Absolutely bobeast, the wife is already complaining, thats to tall, my feet won't touch the floor. My response was, I'll make you some wood blocks to slip on prior to going in hahaha.

Is that a full-travel lift, or did you go with spacers :)

While you're at it, might as well throw on a bidet. I don't like many things touching my anus, but that warm spritz hits the spot! :woot:

I don't have one but my brother does. Everytime I go to his house I make sure I don't crap before I go just so I can use the bidet now. The first time I tried it I was laughing because it tickled so much. Apparently everyone outside heard me laughing and when I came out, everyone was just looking at me. :anonymous:

But that shit sprays your asshole with spritz or pulsating and massaging with warm or cold water, blowdries it, seat warmer, etc. etc., I think it might even play mp3's.
