What’s up everyone? So I was thinking about doing fender flares and color match them to my truck. I don’t have a lift or rims yet so I was wondering if anyone did them with stock rims and tires and what they look like? Thank you!

They’ll look like you skipped leg day.

If you’re going to get aftermarket wheels and tires, I’d say get them, it’s up to you if you rock them before wheels/tires or not.

I think it just depends on the flares. Those look good but the ones with the rivets I think wouldn’t look too good

I think I’m the only one, but I went with textured black fenders with the rivet style bolts (factory rims and tires, no lift)...despite everyone here hating the idea. Lol

I guess my point is- do what you like. You’re the only one that has to look at it every day.

I was thinking, "Jeeeshh, I almost bought a non-functional hood scoop and where is the much needed CHROME." CHROME fender flares would pull it all together, even with stock wheels.

4/2 lift, wacker flairs and stock rims and tires.

Put the lift and flairs on first and you will get tires and rims very fast.

Just want to say I would personally order them take them to a paint shop have them painted then install your self I did mine took me like 10 each one .Literally used all the same holes that are in the fender .If you have a screw driver and a ratchet set you can do it.

Your's look good because even though your rims are "factory" they really aren't. They are part of a port package and are different than the standard OEM wheels in that they have a different offset and does not look like they are tucked in so deep. The problem is not the factory wheels, but the way it look with them tucked in. Your stance look great.

I wish I had waited to put flares on til I got new wheels. Looks tiny looking straight on. I’m trying to decide now on new wheels or takes flares off.

I agree on doing it after as the flare overbite on +60 factory offset is not a nice look.

They’re flush at the apex on mine with 295 tires on +18.

    2B050207-BC27-46ED-A280-E6FFCAD9F6DF.jpg

The actual overhang over stock at the top would be roughly 62mm.

I do think it depends on the flare because some of the more settle ones look fine but ones like ours stick out a little much for factory wheels and tires .I like your truck just get them wheels and tires lol

If I wanted to do lift and tires could I do it with the bilstein shocks and sway bars?

I was close to getting some methods, but then started reading up on lug vs hub centric. Now leaning towards scs. Was planning a trip for kids spring break, and wife actually said if we don’t go anywhere I could get more truck parts with the $. So some wheels might show up soon.

I have bilstein 6112 in front at 1.9” and cb +2 shackles in rear. Stock wheels for now and 285/75r18 nittos. Front/Rear sway bars work fine. Need to research how you want to lift. You can do it with blocks on stock shocks, but will ride worse than oem.

I run Bushwacker flares with 285/70/18's and a +1 offset and I am flush with the flares. OP, you could go with a set of Spidertrax to bring the wheels out.
