20200103_154119.jpg 20200103_154135.jpg I have a 2013 2WD crewmax. Getting ready to to drop some money into it. Shop has me setup for a 6" lift with 22x12 fuel rims and 33" tires. Any thoughts or opinions on whether or not this is a bad setup would be appreciated. I explained that I didn't want the tires to sit out much past the (XSP) fender flares and i didn't want the height of the tire to get lost in the wheel wells. 6" seems high to me but I have never owned a lifted truck before. Any comments or comparison pics would help me out a lot. Updated pics, finally done.

I agree that 12" rims will set out past the fenders but I have those bolt on fender flares which extend out 2.5" or so beyond the factory fender. With my current Toyota XSP tire and rim setup the tires are recessed about 4" from the edge of the wheel flare, viewing the truck from the rear looks like a fat man with skinny legs. He assured me that the tires would not bump out from fender flares more than 1", I also do not know what offset he picked for the rims. I originally wanted a 3 or 4" lift but of the trucks in the shop and pictures that he showed me the 6" seemed to look better. I am worried about too much room between the top of the tire and the wheel well though. Sounds like you might be confirming my thoughts, maybe 4" lift would be better with 33" tires. I appreciate any further comments

I have a 3-3.5” lift on my sequoia and my tundra, both of which are running between 34”-35” tires...I agree with you, 33” tires with a 6” lift will likely not fill the wheel wells like you want.

    3” lift with 34.6 x 13” tires for perspective:

    Hope this helps!

I see what you mean, I think they fill the wells in the front pretty good but not so much in the rear. Thanks for your help

But that’s with 3”. The same 33’s with a 6” lift will look tiny.

Ok that's perfect, I'm going with the 35's but I'm a bit worried because my rims are 20×12 and yours are 10. I dont understand what a -19 offset is, my rims state a 4.75" offset

Offset if from the front of the wheel hub to the center of your rim. Your 4.75” is backspacing which is the measurement from the front of your wheel hub to the inside lip of your rim.

Ok I see now. It says back spacing is 4.75" and offset is -43mm which is 1.7". But I still don't understand how that relates to your -19
