Im looking at upgrading my headlights but all the options out there that I’m considering (2019 trd pro or morimoto xb’s) all come with the position motors on the housing. My 2015 sr5 does not have the headlight beam adjustment.

My question(s) are can I run these headlight upgrades without having the adjustment capability OR is there a thread out there made by someone who is retrofitted this factory option?

I’m pretty sure you can just install them without it. Spyders don’t come with the leveling motors, so unless you swap them over you just don’t have the function.

I concur. My OEMS have the leveling motor but my 07 doesn't have the option. Lights will still work fine without it, just have to manually adjust when you install. I had to use the wiring harness from @iHacker which worked great. Personally, I would choose the TRD Pro lights.

Yeah leaning towards the trd’s due to it being the most cost affective option especially with the exchange rate here in Canada.

So no one has heard of anybody retrofitting the level position feature in their truck? I suppose a fellow would have to build a harness to do this.
