The neighbors should have been immediately suspicious when the weirdo next door invited them to a BBQ.

Seriously though - how did the repairman “find” a human skeleton in the BBQ…something smells here and it’s not just the rotting corpses on Peach Creek. How does the 911 call go ? Like “yea - I’m an appliance repair man working at this house on Peach Creek. I was working on the dryer and got hungry so grabbed some hotdogs and went out to fire up the grill and there’s a skeleton out here.”

Someone might want to double check and see when last time homeowner was seen and how creepy is the appliance repair guy. Hell - might be the homeowner on the grill and they just let serial killer appliance repair guy walk. Detective skills seem to be seriously lacking from some of these new police officers.

As to buy used/new - common damn sense.

I love seeing people posting ask prices of basically what they paid for an item and the over used “only used 1x” - it’s like when in the hell did you only use it once ? Was it a piece of shit and not worth the price - did you only need it 1x and if so - why didn’t you rent one or just return to where you bought it ?

I’ve found plenty of fair deals used - but overall people overvalue used things - especially tools. Did get a real good deal on a wood chipper though last week from some guy on CL - paid a grand - sells new for like $3500. Thing was immaculate too - super clean but did smell of bleach for some reason..

Possible - I mean it is Texas and folks are serious about their BBQ - but then again - who the hell is so stupid to call a repairman for a non working grill that’s full of human bones?

Seriously the most shocking part of the story to me was it didn’t occur in Florida.
