Hope he went a purchased a lottery ticket.

You know the saying, careful poking the bear. He should give up hunting all together. He got a pass from Mother Nature. Plant trees and sing nature soothing songs, from inside a cage of course.

Oooh.....and that's why I always carry a semi auto pistol as backup when I go hunting. Sometimes you can't pull the trigger on a rifle or bow in time....

    Now I wanna go hunting!

No doubt right? I guess maybe my balls never dropped, but when I seen the great northern bears, I was always well armed with a rather large caliber rifle or slugs in a shotgun.

Well, he probably actually did shit himself (pretty sure I might) and the bear smelt a crappy meal and left.

I most definitely would have shit myself. I always carry when hunting and fishing but in the summer time the first round in the chamber is a CCI snake shot. Those pesky rattlers like to hang out near the creeks in the summer when it's dry.

You had all the toilet paper, which probably saved the bear's life.

    Well played Chris!

The bear probably figured that if he let one dumbass go, said dumbass would breed and the bear would have more easy food down the line.

So that's what he was doing? Hunting bears with a bow? WTF! I would have started walking backwards with my backpack above my head to look bigger.

HOLY CRAP!!! I've always told my wife it's the two legged predators you have to worry about roaming around in the forest ( we stumbled across a meth lab in the forest on our dirt bikes one time)... usually the black bears in Oregon leave you alone... AND we were stalked by a mountain lion one time in the Coast Range just north of Florence Oregon.... I'm ALWAYS packing ....
