Get the 4wd. Better to have and not need them to need and not have.

You'll need it in UT. Our weather in the "Rockies" is more confused than a mood ring on a bipolar person.

Yes do it!! And I'm sure they won't have a problem with putting brand new wheels onto your trade in. If they say no, they just want your nice wheels. But if you insist it's a deal breaker, hopefully they'll give in.

Get the 4x4 in the SR5 or limited without the TRD package. Upgrade with better after market products.

Let me be the first in Utah to welcome you! Whereabouts do you plan on moving?

There is a lot of Utah that you need 4wd to see. If you aren't planning on leaving the pavement you should be fine with 2wd 360+ days out of the year.

I would think a SR5 could be bought for around 37,000

That's my dream... to drive an 18 wheeler. I was thinking about taking a class A driving school. But paying a few thousand bucks to drive a truck didn't fare well with the wife.
