Thinking on putting these rims and tires on my gen. 1.
I like black wheels but everyone has black wheels now, so I would like to do something a little different.
This set is at my local Toyota dealership, you think it's a fair price?IMG_20190225_134701.jpg 1117181612.jpg

Honestly, I like your wheels better.. But do what looks best to you! Not sure about the wheels, but Discount Tire has those tires for much cheaper.

The wheels I have on it currently are Incubus. I don't know much about them I just see them on teenagers trucks all the time.

I dig the TRD wheel/BFG combo. It would look great on your truck. I support it!

Bit pricey but those look good! Not bad if they're true bead lock wheels

They arent beadlocks but they look nice. I have them. They only come in 16 inch oem. Other options available for 6 lug that look good.

They will fit but if you plan on upgrading calipers to 4runner sport or gx, you will need 17 inch rims to clear calipers.

Beadlocks sandwich your tire between rim and ring

Those TRD are sweet and that price is pretty fair for them. I've seen then range from 240 to 270 each. Those tires could be found cheaper elsewhere. I say go for it if that cost is within your budget, I've wanted those wheels in bronze for years but can't justify the cost.

    Eight spoke wheels, cargo netting.
Hey Fella, I was in the same boat at yourself in Dec. 2018. I drive a 2nd gen. Magnetic Grey Crewmax Tundra and didn't want my truck looking like all the other black wheel trucks on the road. So, after a few drinks mind you I created a list of what I wanted in a wheel:
    1) Fitment and offset. I wanted an 18mm positive offset and position the wheel just past or equal to the edge of the fender wells
    2) Machine Face finish over black. Trying to stay with the look of the stock wheels the designers at Toyota presented on this gray color scheme
    3) Ease of cleaning. I wanted 5-8 spokes and ability of cleaning the wheel (not just the face)
    4) Originality-be a trendsetter and not follow the pack
    5) Price. Discount Tire price matched them at....$159.00 each

I had a list of 10 wheels and the ones I chose are the Helo 909 wheels (helowheels.com)

I have had them on the truck since like I said, Dec. 2018, and have already received 12 compliments on the truck as I am getting gas, at the gym, Home Depot or Lowe's parking lot.
But, enough of my,"yammering" see for yourself.20181228_170514.jpg

Right on guys, thanks for all the tips, I still have some tread left on the old tires. As soon as they are done I'm planning on buying them. I will post pics once i get them.
