Bought my first Toyota Pickup in 1980, a white 3/4-ton five speed, don't even remember selling it.
Number two was a very used FJ40 in about 1982, it was owned by a timber company and beat to pieces, paid them $400. Then started to work, I used it for several years and the sold it to my uncle who used it on his farm for the next 20 years........
Number Three was a very nice FJ60, in 1987 with low mileage, a great truck, not so good for pulling a large boat. Sold it with 75K on it, wish I still owned that one.
Number four was a 1998 LandCruiser that is still in my family, my brother is the proud owner now.
Number five was a 2001 LX570 Lexus, nicest truck I've ever owned, my accountant made me sell it, should have fired him.
Number six was a 2001 Sequoia, had 296K on it and hit a deer. Total wipeout.
Number seven is a 2005 Sequoia with 306K, still running strong and solid.
Number eight is the latest a 2008 Tundra 5.7L heavy use and some abuse, with 230K running fine.
