We snagged two on our last shopping trip. I told The Woman I want to carve a Toyota logo in mine. Pretty sure she rolled her eyes so hard the earth tilted...

15 years ago i worked in the grocery business and we ran out of pumpkins every year by this time. Nowadays every store around me has pallets and pallets of pumpkins still. Crazy

I have a pumpkin farm a mile from my house, they're fully stocked on pumpkins and odd looking squash. 2 blocks up from the hemp farm.

We did ours last night. Free hand carve, she drew the pattern on for me to cut, not too bad. I refuse to use stencils even though those are way cooler. Happy carving!

Oh the cat face one is awesome, the whole pumpkin glows, it looks fake almost. Free Harbor freight LEDs lighting them up

There are times when I mis being a kid in new England this time of year, the trip to the pumpkin farm was always a hit, the stuffed black bear in the corner of the store, the haunted house on one side of the property...memories are great.

Does anyone do like I do? I cut the hole in the bottom to scoop out the guts. It leaves the stem / carrying handle intact, and it's so easy to set the jackolantern right over the lit candle or light.

I use a LED tea light that can change colors or stay yellow with a flicker that mimics a real candle, but that's a neat idea I never thought about

Never heard of a shortage of pumpkins.

I watch them rot in the fields after the 30th
