Decided to start a build thread as I'm going to make this lil orca into a beast aka the great white orca!

History about myself, purchased a Super White 2015 CrewMax SR5 few years ago and it was my first time buying a truck, previously I had an Acura TSX and was all about being slammed, poking rim with stance, and how low I could go being static riding coilovers. Made the huge mistake of getting a the tundra in a 4x2 model and then wanting to go off-road. Saw a TRD Pro in person and fell in love, few years later after buying a house and settling down came across a killer deal on a used 2015 TRD Pro Super White CrewMax and convinced the wife to let me sell my SR5 for the Pro and here I am!

    Parts purchased and installed:
    -35x11.5r18 nitto trail grapplers
    -Backflip MX4 Folding Bed Cover
    -Tinted all windows
-LED Headlights, cabin, and done lights 4000k

    Parts on order awaiting shipment:
-White Knuckle Off road Sliders w/ black powder coat
    -Coachbuilder Shims and +3 shackles
    -Bora 1.25" hubcentric spacers

    Parts planning on ordering:
    -TRD supercharger
    -NFab Front Bumper
    -Procomp Fenders
    -PP Engineering full underbody protection
    + more to come!

Here's some before and after shots of the 35's on a stock pro!

Great start, looks good. Good luck on finding that TRD Supercharger. Toyota no longer produces them. One of our supercharged experts should be able to answer any questions you might have.

You can look at purchasing a Magunson SC, but you'll be hard pressed to find a TRD SC.
TRD discontinued these a few years back- some say it's due to lack of demand vs supply, others have said because many Tundra guys purchased directly from Toyota, had Toyota install it and then blew their engine and Toyota had to replace both the engine and SC.

Since you cannot purchase Magunson via Toyota be prepared to kiss your power train warranty goodbye once installed and overridden with the BD Tune (which you need- most come with the tuner as a "package")

If you're serious about a Magunson SC, David with @ToyTec Lifts can get you all setup.

I will say the power is addicting- even on 35" mud tires you can still spin them 1/4 mile down the road if you chose to do so.

Wonder why they went 35x11.50x18 and not 35x12.50x18 like Toyo's. Just don't see that dimension (at least I haven't) very much. :notsure:

They make both sizes, for some reason the 11.50 was $100 cheaper per tire, probably because it's such a rare size I think nitto is the only brand that makes a 35 in the 11.50. The 12.50 will rub the UCA because of the +60 high offset of the pro wheels. Also the recommended tire is at least 8.5" wide to run the 12.50 and the pro is 8".

Just got a number of parts in the mail this weekend.

    Coachbuilder shims and +3 shackles
    BORA 1.25 wheel spacers
    Hypertech speedo calibrator

Any advice/instructions on installing any of these would be greatly appreciated!

Also thinking about painting my calipers Black to match the wheels, was looking at the rustoleum enamal paint for high heat

    2 mods added this week:

    - Hypertech speedo calibrator installed for the 35s! Finally know how fast I'm really going hah

    - BORA 1.25" wheel spacers for the TRD pro wheels. Makes the stance a lot more aggressive and has some tire poke finally
