Do it. And don't worry about limiting the boost... the 4.7 can take it!

more than I can list here
I’m running a remote mount turbo on my 03 and it runs great.

Biggest killer of these tricks when boosted is fuel delivery.

Run an afr gauge. And have a supplement to add fuel. I’m runnnng a huge nozzle from a nitrous kit. It opens up and dumps fuel under boost. The more fuel it dumps the harder the turbo spools, to an extent. It’s a chain reaction.

From what I’ve seen over the past 15 years modifying tundras and paying attention to these forums, number one reason for failures on boosted trucks is not monitoring afr and knowing what to do.

I’ve successfully run a turbo on my truck for the past 40,000+ miles. I now have properly sized injectors and a supplemental fuel system onlybfor boost.

Please feel free to give a call with questions. I’m happy to freely share knowledge and would love to see this particular kit work.
