Nothing crazy, just a last minute idea as we didn't plan for much today since tomorrow is the family gathering.

I'm Of Cuban lineage, so growing up would be having lechon (marinated pork), rice, black beans, fried plantains and yucca. Man I miss my Cuban people- Dad, uncle, brother and grandma (God bless you all)!

My wife and her family are Italian- so tonight we had Pasta al forno, meatballs, escarole cooked w/ olive oil, pepper flakes and garlic, salad w/ Balsamic vinegar and garlic bread. Normally being from Naples, they do all seafood on Christmas.

    Merry Christmas to y'all!

Wife is doing a turkey in the oven, cakes, etc.

I just put a couple of 3 lb turkey breasts on the pellet grill. We’ll see how that goes.

We had cheese, grapes, deer bologna cracker plates....then onto ham, potatoes, scalloped corn, mac and cheese buffalo chicken, pecan and chocolate mousse pies and cake. My contribution was homemade christmas after dinner mints and 30 tubes of handmade chapstick! Which disappeared in seconds

Not much for xmas eve. Drank a few beers and grilled some oysters. Ate a bowl of frosted flakes later on. Gonna try out our Insta Pot Duo with chili and some of my "Junk" cornbread.

I am here, well barely. damn back crashed on me again. Pulled myself up off the floor about 20 minutes ago, dear god. Felt like someone took my spine from my tailbone and yanked upwards... down I f-in went. Sore as all hell now but sitting upright, and now the front of my left thigh is burning again. I cant win for losing here these days. Add to it the holiday depression and screw it I want this shit over with.

I cooked yesterday and honestly screwed it up. The turkey breast came out ok, just a little over done temp hit 180 by the time I pulled it off the egg and the dressing on the egg was overdone saved about 2/3rds of it, but ya I ruined it.

I got distracted on a phone call with a long time friend that's going thru some shit right now and needed a ear to bend.

Today has just been some snacks and leftovers.
