    Hi guys need some help brought a mini-vci j2534 and it came with the techstream software V 13.00.022 after install can’t get this thing to work.. it’s giving me an error message “Unable to connect to VIM” Running Window 10 64-bit

    Check the installation CD for a read me file for install directions. Seems like you are missing a few steps during the install process.

    I did follow the directions on the note but still doesn’t work.. try couple time same thing.

    Did you check your device manager to make sure the USB driver is working and not have a yellow triangle.

    do you have a file called xhorse and if you do did you copy and move to your program directory?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\XHorse Electronics\MVCI Driver for TOYOTA TIS\MVCI32.dll


    Other than this I do not have any idea what could be going wrong. Sorry that's the extent of my knowledge

    No I don’t see that xhorse file been looking everywhere for it.

    Morning buddy.. sorry knockout early last night cuz of jet lag.. just did the install with your file seem like it’s working. It’s raining in so cal right now.. I’ll test it out when the rain stop.. let you know how it goes
