Yes its here. The power you have been asking for to bump all those new speakers you bought in the 2 previous group buys. We all know our systems already sound so much better thanks to James' research and hard work. But they can be better.
Introducing the tech12volts JBL STADIUM 5 CHANNEL AMPLFIER group buy. We need 10 orders to make this work. James will take orders on his website, and once at least 10 orders have been placed he will order and ship.
Amp group buy price is $299. With options to add a pre-programmed DSR1(+$255), amp wiring kit(+$55), and amp rack (+$19). Retail on the amp alone is is $499.
    You can order here.... https://www.shop.tech12volts.com/product.sc?productId=572&categoryId=136

For us JBL guys who want to keep the factory headunit and retain all of its function you have the option to add on a DSR1 (Maestro/Rockford Fosgate 8 channel digital signal processor) which will integrate the new amp with the stock JBL headunit and simplify wiring/installation. You can also have the DSR1 pre-programmed by James and purchase and amp power wiring kit and amp rack right from that same link.

    ******For non JBL guys*******
If you buy amp and add the wire kit and amp rack James will throw in the non JBL harness at no cost!!! You just need to add that to the notes when ordering.
So buy the amp, add the rack($19) and amp wire kit($55) and in the notes tell James you have a non JBL and need the harnesses.
This will make all the SPEAKER wiring plug and play for 14-19 non JBL tundras. You will need to run the power wire from the battery to the amp and a ground wire from the amp to a good ground. The remote turn on wire is covered in the harness he is giving you.

This is the amp that James suggests using to pair perfectly with the speakers he provided us with in the previous group buys. This amp will add much more power to the system. The other add ons will make it that much better.
The amp has high level inputs, RCA adapted hi level inputs, and RCA inputs, a wired remote bass knob to have control of the sub from the driver's seat. It has plenty of power (75W to all 4 corners in the cab AMD 350W to the sub!) for our trucks new speakers. You can read more about the amp by clicking on the crutchfield link below.
    JBL Stadium 5
5-channel car amplifier — 75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms + 350 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms and matches perfectly with the JBL sub, dash and door speakers from previous group buys.
This amp retails at $499 on crutchfield... https://www.crutchfield.com/p_109STAD5/JBL-Stadium-5.html?awcp=1t1&awcr=309978036229&awdv=c&awkw=+jbl++stadium++5&awmt=b&awnw=g&awug=9011297&gclid=Cj0KCQiA14TjBRD_ARIsAOCmO9YD1BnXycGrA3fZ7N-dCcDbMrp1n4rbw6pumHYXuwblRGO3KhRN6oUaAvTOEALw_wcB

All it takes is 10 orders to get this deal, order thru the tech12volts link above.

Thanks again to @james@tech12volts for another great deal and superb improvement to our trucks audio system.

JESUS man...I need a fire extinguisher for my pockets. I haven't even ordered the door speakers yet so the household 6 doesn't cut me off from future mods, now this. LMAO. Was planning on going Alpine or JL but will have to check this amp out.

What’s the install going to look like on one of these? Something most of us can get done ourselves I’m hoping?

I already bought the sub and speakers. I’m definitely in for the amp!

JBL or non? Both are pretty simple. You'll need to run a fused wire from battery to amp and a ground wire from amp. Buy the wiring kit from James $55 , and he will include the non JBL wire harness to make it plug and play other than power and ground wires

I'm no expert here and have not installed anything like this in a very long time. I think it sounds simple.
You need a power wire from battery to amp, and also ground from amp. He includes JBL ready harnesses that will plug into the dsr1. I think you'll basically unplug the input plug from your JBL amp, wire that to one of his harnesses which then plugs into the dsr1, then connect the dsr1 into the amp with another supplied harness (I think the dsr harness) then you'll take the other harness provided and hook the wires to the speaker outputs, and plug the other end into the OEM harness that comes from the output side of the JBL amp. You'll wanna run a new heavy guage wire from amp to sub. Again I have not done this and James is your best resource for this info. But it's pretty damn easy and mostly plug and play other than power and ground

Pretty much the same specs as the JBL amp in the group buy.

Noob here. So, If I have the stock jbl system, then do I have to buy the dsr1 and the wiring kit and such?

Oh boy, Amx is going to love me! Too good to pass up. One question, can we use our existing amp rack from the premium system or is the new rack necessary?

Since this amp is easily twice the size of the factory one in going to go in a limb here and say you'll need the new one. I guess I'm also in on this deal and will begin looking for the next wife after this GB kills my current marriage.

This is a moment where I have to justify putting $255 toward keeping the POS stock head unit for ONLY looks or put that towards a Kenwood and live with the crappy metra kit.

So... Quick question. What does the 'DSR1' accessory do? And do I need it? Would all of those components require a professional installer, more than likely?

I purchased the Doors, Dash, and the Subwoofer from the previous threads.

It more or less cleans up signal from HU so that new amp can use it from what I understand. Install should be fairly easy on all this with all the videos there are. I'm positive someone can answer this more professionally than me but in short you WANT the DSR1 tuned by James sent to you.

If you have the JBL system and want to keep the headunit, you need the dsr1 to be able to get sound cleanly into the amp so it can amplify it and put good music out.
    Self install is possible

Sounds like a good deal, but I think just the speakers and sub will do me well. I guess once I get the speaker and am able to install only will I really know tho.

No, the amp is about 4 times as big. the dsr1 is about the same size as the OEM amp. But you need to reloacate some stuff. The harnesses will help and I recommend getting the amp rack too.

Not too bad. I just unbolted the front seat and tilted it back. Unplugged and removed the factory amp. Go online or to Taco Tunes videos for center console removal. Hardest part is cutting the end off the nipple on the wire boot on the firewall. There is just not a lot of room and you do not want to cut any wires. I pushed the amp power wire from inside the cab in to the nipple then cut the end with a utility knife. You can ground using one of the bolts that holds the OEM amp rack.

I have the JBL system, but I don't have the factory headunit (I have the Tesla Style head unit). Do you think I need the DSR1 still? Idk what DSR1 is/means haha. @Pudge

I think you will want something so you can maintain the factory steering wheel controls and functions of the factory JBL system. But I think maybe you need the idatalink maestro which is less expensive. Others will know better. I believe the dsr1 is only needed if you want to keep the factory JBL headunit. Again I'm no expert here.

My controls already work. This head unit is plug and play with those. I thought the DSR1 had to do something with the amp? Like in order to plug in this new aftermarket amp you would need the DSR1? So now I'm thinking this amp is just going to come with a wiring harness (to essentially make the stock wires capable of plugging into the aftermarket amp) or are we just removing the stock amp, cutting the connectors off to expose the wires, and splicing those to fit in the aftermarket amp?

I would get in touch with @james@tech12volts about this situation. Sorry I can't be more help.
