so i ordered the $199 sub and box and got it installed definitely adds more bass and overall more fullness. My question is instead of a JBL sub. It was a infinity 10” sub that was sent. Anyone else get the infinity sub?

James also did a group buy on his website for infinity stuff (sub, amp, speakers and box). I assume he had some infinity subs mounted in boxes left from that and sent you one. If I recall correctly the infinity sub is a little better than the JBL and costs a bit more normally so you may have lucked out.
The one upside to the JBL sub is the switch on the back to run it at 2 ohms or 4 ohms. Not sure if the infinity has that switch or if youd have to rewire the connections to the voice coils to change ohm level.

The infinity had the selectable switch as well.
