    Well did an oops and backed up the trailer with the gate down... going to have to get my PDR friend get it close but I’ll need a new cap that will go down far enough to cover? I was trying to find pictures of anyone who had a deezee diamond plate one but came up empty handed. Help?

    Ouch...if your PDR guy can get that relatively straight again, you should be able to make up the gap with foam weatherstrip maybe.

    Sort of off topic, but I've been pondering doing a mod that has me install a switch that is open when the tailgate is down and tie it into the hood switch. This would have the truck annoy me with warnings if I try to move with the tailgate down. Would have a dash switch to disable it if I do need to leave the tailgate down for something long.

    I did find that anzo deal but the only review I could find was that the lights collect water snd fail within a year or two.... someone must make a cap that goes down further than OEM??
