Sorry my post was unclear. Reading the response from Taco it seems that he was made a offer after posting here put not what was stated in his first email with them. Unless I am misreading, this isn't like an accidental crazy price got posted on eBay, an employee offered op a deal due to out of stock items then deal was removed by higher ups.

 

For what it’s worth I gave them multiple opportunities to correct the issue, and didn’t get anywhere until I made a thread here. They chose not to honor the price they gave me, which is their call, so I moved on.

Perhaps next time I’ll ping TacoRob ( who seems like a good guy) directly instead of dealing with his employees.

********* rep is apperently solid enough that no one wants to hear anything to the contrary, so I’ll stop.

For now, I’m going to build and possibly install the system myself. I may order an enclosure and harness from Rob.

@tacorob After this thread, you asked me what I wanted to “make it right”. As I said YOU have been very upfront and responsive after that point. I tried to point that out and compliment you specifically as an olive branch.

My comment was related to what spurred me to write the original post

Let’s all just let this go. This is a jumbled mess at this point and nothing good will come out of it moving forward. It didn’t work out, it happens. I’m not planing on uploading all the texts, and emails etc to call y’all out. I’m done. Let’s drop it, shake hands so to speak and enjoy our weekends.

Looks to me like this is all played out. [OP] moved on, but let us know he'll still consider doing business with Taco Tunes, and vendor spending time on his weekend checkin' threads to manage his business reputation. I've decided I'll keep ********* on my Possibilities list.

 

Sounds like the OP planned a few different builds, trying to find in stock prices. I confused myself when I was planning my build, this will work with that but if I use these than I have to go with that. Then, he came on here to vent, hoping to get some movement on his issue. Now, he decided to go another way, not being happy, but will get some parts from taco tunes because he can't get them anywhere else. Now, tacorob has to take a beating on the forum and tighten up the sales people ( no more deals). Well,

Hoping you can lend a hand. Here you stated that you gave us multiple attempts to correct the issue - but then you opened this thread due to lack of response. I had our office manager pull a call log and below is a screen cap of your last text to Daniel. Daniel has his time zone set wrong so it looks like you last replied at May 25th at 4:19PM. This thread was started at May 25th at 5:11PM. I checked our call log as you can see attached. I also checked our ticket system Did you open a new ticket? Before I sit down a have a "come to Jesus" meeting with my employee, I need to be sure I have my information correct. I am going to speak with him about how he communicates with potential customers and make 100% he is doing the right thing.

As an entrepreneur and business owner I have a few things to say about this post. I typically don’t like to point the finger or call someone out but I have a few things to point out to the OP. If you put someone on blast on a social platform and they respond back to you with less than an hour asking what they can do to make it right, how can you not be impressed? I can attest to dealing with customers that some people are never happy unless they get something for free or discounted. Since I have personally dealt with Rob and Taco Tunes I can say they truly go above and beyond for their customers. So maybe me having personal experience with Taco Tunes makes me biased but clearly Rob is trying to go above and beyond for the OP. I would strongly recommend Taco Tunes to anyone and I have recommended them to several friends. Plus I’m a little skeptical when some has a new account and puts a business or person on blast. Makes me wonder if it’s a competitors post rather than a consumer.

 

Wow the OP on here was pretty much proved right by time. TT has gone from people jumping on the OP's case for posting something critical to not even being able to type there name.
