    ********* System 1 Starter here

Thinking of installing this system in my 2018 Tundra Double Cab (non JBL) ... keeping stock speakers in doors for the time being.

Anyone have this system? Did it make a dramatic difference? Easy install? Comments or alternative suggestions?

    Thanks

Your not going to want to keep the stock speakers. Just swap them while you are doing the install.

Did I miss something. That's $750 for a box, sub, amp and amp rack?

I'm guessing u r thinking this is a bit too much? My issue is the last one I did in my Taco I did with random parts, saved couple of bucks but always had a buzzing sound that I just could never get rid of ... thought maybe by purchasing one that is apparently matched I wouldn't have probs like that ...

I'm not after a lot more loud, well, maybe a bit ... more wanting the fuller sound that a sub brings.

You will want to gut everything if you want decent sound. The signal from the head unit is the downfall of the stock system....along with being horribly underpowered. My $.02 is if your going to go down that road replace everything....you’ll be much happier in the end.

Replaced only head unit to get back-up camera , pioneer 8100NEX and sound/system is MUCH better even with stock speakers.

pics show a behind the seat box, not on a Double Cab. I have also read post by audio nerds on Face Book a few times that the equipment they are rebranding is sub-par. No personal experience though.
