I was riding to town yesterday with my wife driving her Tacoma. We hit a patch of black ice and she lost control. We (thankfully didn’t flip) ended up sideways in the lane with mostly body damage.

Anyhow, I’m looking for 1 replacement factory 2005, 2wd, Tacoma rim

    We are in NW Oregon
    Here’s what we need:

Yeah, we’re both “okay”, pretty sore and stiff though!

I’m hoping that since there’s so many Tacoma folks on here, maybe I can get one to ask for a rim on the Tacoma forum. Maybe I am unrealistic and overly optimistic, but considering how many Tacoma trucks are running around Oregon with custom rims, there’s probably enough of these stock rims somewhere to build a mountain!

Easily could have been a lot worse. The other side of the road is a 20’ drop into a river. As much as the impact and bouncing around was, my stiffness is mostly from the recovery; running, kneeling, crawling, jacking, etc.
I caught a ride home and came back with the tundra.

I should probably be looking for a new front bumper too, but heck, in this part of Oregon, a 4x4, tie wired up front is pretty acceptable! lol
