2000 tundra 4.7, I am bringing back from sitting over 3 years. Got it running after replacing almost everything, but the speedometer, tach and odometer do nothing. the rest of the instrument panel seems to work fine.
Also the pass side headlight is not working at all, there seems to be power to one leg but when i attach bulb to socket, I get power on all the tabs. Is that a bad ground?

Figured the headlight out, the wire was corroded at the connector

Did any water get inside? I would check fuses and power to the connector on the cluster. With the windshield like that, hopefully no water made it’s way in behind the dash.

Also installed a used instrument cluster which solved the no tach, Speedo and odometer issue

Haha, well it was from a family member, and I did not expect it to need as much work as it did. I didn’t know the windshield was smashed out for a year from a tree branch, the tires were flat, the brakes were frozen solid so it had to be dragged, the starter and alternator were completely corroded, all brakes needed to be replaced as well as lines, new fuel tank and lines, new windshield. The timing had jumped from me turning the crank by hand making sure the engine was not seized. Anyways I paid scrap price for it, $425, $100 for the tow and about $3k so far in parts including the new bed and tires. There may be some Bilstein’s in the near future. It also needed a new transfer case actuator.

Sounds a little like what I did this past summer. Just not nearly as neglected. It's looking pretty darn good at this point.

    How's the interior??

Interior is in great shape after I cleaned the seats and carpet. The digital clock is on but I can’t set the time, well sometimes I can change it but it just keeps changing on its own every 10 seconds or so?? The dome light manually comes on but not when switched to the door open mode.

Under the right rear seat there's the small storage cubby. You might be able to fit a pair of gloves and a Leatherman in there...

Plenty of storage space under your bedliner, too...
