OEM recommened oil is synthetic. Actually pretty sure it’s rebranded M1.

You could change the poll and pick out a few top brands to see which is preferred? Just a thought.

0-20 any brand is sufficient. If you want the best, Amsoil is a great choice.

You can only get the OEM recommended viscosity in 100% synthetic, a full synthetic, or a synthetic blend. Are you asking if we prefer 100% synthetic to a full synthetic?

You came to the wrong internet if you want opinions on engine oil.

Everyone here uses the same exact brand/grade and we all hold PhD's in tribology.

Is there a difference between full synthetic and 100% synthetic?

    What is Mobil 1?

    Thanks.

Yup. Mobil 1 is full synthetic. Look on oil containers, they will ALL say explicitly that the product is either "100% synthetic", "full synthetic" or a synthetic blend, or of course, conventional.

The only 100% synthetic motor oils (Poly Alpha Olefins) are Amsoil, Royal Purple, and one or two others. Back in the day, I think Mobil 1 was actually 100% synthetic, but no longer. THAT explains why those brands are more expensive, but in general, you would need a much more severe operating environment to actually see any benefit from using "100% synthetic" over "full synthetic" motor oil, or even conventional motor oil for that matter. There, I've said it; that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

Hummm... The angle of the danger still needs to be in direct proportion to the mass for it to be fully effective...

Maybe that's why the poll has check boxes instead of radio buttons. There's more than one answer here.
