I clean it with every wash. Helps maintain warranty and no cake buildup.

My side business is pressure washing. I would do this at home more often but it leaves a huge mess on the driveway and sidewalk.. Ugh!!!

I always wash underneath and scrub my motor compartment every other month. That way if I ever have a leak I will know right away plus it looks good. Lol

Do you worry about the pressure washer shooting water into the CV boots or potentially tearing the rubber? Or do you use it on a relatively low pressure?

On my MX bikes/utility quads I use simple green and keep the pressure washer nozzle as far away as I can while still getting the dirt, etc. off. I realize our trucks don't have MX suspension, but the parts are similar.

Ask Toytec how many have been voided due to people wheeling and not cleaning :)

I will admit my truck hasn't seen much mud yet. Some puddles going through a dirt road or through the pits at the MX track, that's it.

    Boooooo

This might be a dumb question but I’m guessing you have to lay on the ground to wash most of the suspension? Is there anything you shouldn’t spray the degreaser on? Do you wet it and then spray the degreaser? Haven’t really used that stuff much.

:hattip: I just sprayed the degreaser on let it sit for 30 45 seconds and then sprayed it off and yes you probably going to have to lay on the ground to spray underneath. No dumb questions at all.

I hose off the underneath and engine compartment every time I wash my truck because I can't stand dirt. With that said, my tuck really doesn't get very dirty because I don't go off-road and avoid mud puddles like the plague.
