I have a '15 SR5 Crewmax and want to put 35x12.5x17 Toyos on it. However, the tires wont fit unless i put a 4" lift on it.

I won't be taking it off road for a while (like a year) so I am looking for a suspension that is better than stock ride and allows for the 35's.

I want to keep the price somewhere around $1500. The Icon Stage 2 seems nice but so does the ProComp Stage 1.

Also, the nearest tire shop (Big O) quoted me at $1000 for install of the lift. Does this seem high?

Does anyone know if there are any deals on suspension lifts going on? The more I save the more I can do to my Tundra!!

    Thanks in advance!!

They said they charge $180 an hour and they call the manufacturer to get the average install time and charge only those hours. If an 8 hour job turns into a 12 hour job I still pay the same they quoted me.

What is the difference between BDS basic lift and performance lift? I want my ride to be as smooth as possible.

7in BDS lift, Spyder Smoked Taillights,
Performance Lift has fox coilovers! Basic comes with strut extenders to keep your factory struts I believe!

Call Toytec Lifts and talk to them what you want..

If you want good ride BDS 4.5 hand drown. and ride good but not anything better than stock ride if you want a smooth ride. Lol got my 4.5 without coilover for about 75k before going to custom Icon Coilover with DCDV
But remember for bds u have to cut your crossmember 100%. And wheels size 20”+
U can fit 35 with 3” lift with some trimming
Someone like 3” better for off-road and and some say 6” not as good as like 3” for off road just for show. but I take my for off road the most and tow.
Everyone are different and they will till you want they have on their truck was a good kits.! Your money go for what you like the most. Good luck

Take a look at the Eibach Coilover kit. Seems like it's about $850 and you get new lifted struts and coils for the front already assembled, and a 1" lift block for the rear or shackles. You also get a forum member discount when buying from Toytec. I know you said you wanted a 4" lift, but there are quite a few people running 35's with 3" on here. I was just suggesting this one because it was cheaper and a good bang for your buck. It also should save you on labor install cost because the coils and everything are already assembled, it's literally just swapping them out.

Just for reference, front coil overs, rear shocks and an add a leaf on my Tacoma was a 9 Hour job for me, one person, with no lift and no real experience. A shop with air tools and a lift shouldn’t take half that time. Sounds like they just don’t want to tackle a lift.

Also, 180 an hour is double what a dealer around here would charge you - literally. $90-$100 an hour is what Toyota would bill you here. $1000 is what you usually pay for a supercharger install, not suspension work.

Got 6112s with install and alignment quoted $957 after taxes (out the door) labor should run closer to 100-120$ I'd think unless you're in a super expensive area?

I’d go with a 3/1 if it were me, no reason to cut crossmembers just to fit 35’s. ToyTec has a few good options with the Boss and Radflo kits. If you want to go higher up, Icon, King, ADS and Fox are all options.

$1000 install and $180 an hour?!?! Court appointed lawyers make half that, and that’s when your liberty is at stake. Are they using gold plated wrenches or something? At that price, there better not be a scratch on the coil springs as they wiggle them into place and it should at least include lifetime alignments. Personally, I would go else where or try it yourself if you have any mechanical experience.
