I just saw this video the other day. I liked different ideas except the marker trick (using a black marker to cover a rusty bolts didn't sound good to me).

20% ceramic tinted windows, charcoal filter delete, weather tech floor mats, rear seat fold down mod, Tyger soft tonneau cover, Linex with uv protection, TRD swaybar, TRD center caps, TRD Pro grille insert, Real truck tailgate seal, Pop-n-lock tailgate actuator, rear diff breather relocate. Lots of love.
I can't seem to get the video to play for me right now. Might be reception. I used to wash the engine bay on all my cars back in the day.
I still believe in keeping the engine bay clean but I really shy away from using water on the top of the engine.

This revealed itself recently on my 2002 Dodge ram with a 4.7 L V-8. The spark plugs are installed on the top of the engine near the intake manifold on the inside of the head. It is now my mother's truck but I went to change the plugs and water had gotten down past the coils and the O-rings that protect the plugs. It caused quite a bit of corrosion and was very difficult to get the plugs out. I used to clean that engine bay all the time. I also had a radiator hose below and cover everything with tonight. That instance caused a misfire.

So in the future I will still be washing my engine bay but being very careful to keep it away from any electrical components.

I'll try to watch the video later.
