Beautiful truck. My brother is a master tech with Toyota. Biggest complaint they get from customers getting the SCs installed is the non-stop noise they produce. Like he says: Power at a Price.

Just got installed mine 3 weeks ago. Constantly getting 9.9 mpg and scary eyes watching the rearview mirror when the beast is on their ass in the left lane.

12.5-13mpg prior to supercharger. Hard to keep the foot off the gas pedal once u have the power. Just 2 fill ups so far with more city driving than freeway. I have a 3 inch lift w 35s. Funny things odometer shows 15.5 average but fuelly app tells u the truth.

I ran a TRD Supercharger for a couple years on my 2011 Rock Warrior. The supercharger was installed by Toyota Master Technician. I can’t begin to tell you how much pleasure I got out of the install. I most generally got in the neighborhood of 13 MPG in the hilly to mountainous terrain I live in. If I run a full tank of gas on flatland without hot ridding it I’ve seen as high as 17 MPG. Overall if your looking to increase MPG your driving the wrong truck.

The fun part is absolutely blowing and would be pretenders in the weeds. The look of sports car drivers face when they just been victimized by a full size truck was priceless. Turn off the traction and stability control and look out! I ran my truck at a flat drag race held here locally. I did some time trials and found out the truck was to fast by 1 second to race in the street class. I was told to race I would have to slow down or prepare my truck with the appropriate safety gear (fire suppression system, racing harness, cage). I opted to set at the light for a full second before taking off

I've had the TRD supercharger on my 2012 Crewmax for 2 years and I get 15 mpg on the open highway.

Just looking to get the most mileage possible. Tgis is my third Tundra, i know the mileage is not good but, my new exhaust combined with the bully dog in tow mode, and the cold air induction seems to get me 1 to two mpg better. Mine has a 6" lift with 35"s. Thanks for the great info!! Did you have any relibility problems, and how many miles did you rack up?

Like @Cement Pro said, u are driving the wrong truck if u are looking at mileage.

My odometer clocks 16-19 MPG on highway but its wrong. Try using fuelly app to get the correct calculations.

My first gen with 33s gets 15.2-16.8 on the highway, cruising at 65 (really 70 because speedo is off) anything above that is terrible. But, it's a truck, I dont care about MPG. If someone offered a first gen supercharger, I'd be all over it.

Reliability seems ok. We have one customer at our shop that maintains his truck religiously. He's running a TRD supercharger and just turned 150k. As long as you maintain it and don't beat the crap out of it daily, you'll be ok.

Im in about the same boat, truck showing 16 and bully dog at 11 or 12 with 35s and 4" lift. I will be filling the first tank today and will find out what it's average is and yes hard to stay off the pedal.

Go with the Magnusun and have Keith at Dirty Deeds hook you up with a Bully Dog programmer that will enhance your supercharger’s performance and shut off the speed limiter.

The magnuson supercharger for my Tundra comes with everthing, including Bullydog Gt tuner, preloaded with sc tune for flex fuel. Pretty awesome set up, looks like. Thanks for the great info, i feel alot better about the install.

I’ve got mine set on the premium tune so I’m obviously running premium fuel. I haven’t tried out the tow tune yet. Besides the throttle sensitivity and transmission shift points does it still feel a little bit more powerful than stock? Did you keep the bully dog throttle sensitivity or did you dial it down a little bit?

Actually the tow tune w/performance shift points, feels a little more responsive than stock. I think the exhaust helps a bit too.
