I did get this from Magnuson the other day if it helps for anyone Screenshot_20190626-023527_Gmail.jpg
I did get mine from Sparks with Tundra dude 5% discount and the Sparks parts Department was a pleasure to deal with.

Did you tell them to send you one without the sparks name plate on top?

    $ 6,600 is a very good price, I think I paid $6,666 total.

They were doing a special with no tax and free shipping. Sparks couldn't compete with it when I tried to get them to match.

Yeah, I saw that. Roughly $6,645 shipped. It looked like there was no tax either when added into the cart and proceeding to checkout. I'm going to get one and go with OVTuning if everything checks out for the FFV trucks. Probably can't pull it off until March/April though.

I looked at 4 wheel parts website, where I got mine, and it's up to 6925 shipped. What for a holiday sale and all will be good.

Yeah, I spoke with Right Toyota who does a lot of installs and will use them to do mine. Only issue is buying from them will result in paying tax also unless they'd be willing to match.

I was set on getting a new SC'd '19... So after a ton of research and contacting dealers all over the country, I made the decision to go with Sparks based on their experience and reputation (and they had the exact truck I wanted on the lot). We did all of the paperwork before I arrived, they picked me up at the airport, and I was on my way back to Mississippi. I have no complaints with the Unichip solution after the first 10k miles. I am very interested in the @OVTune once they get it figured out for the '19 though. Contact Michael Holmes at Sparks.

So they were able to SC the 2019? Thats the first time I had heard someone able to do it. That's pretty cool.

Do you have a flex fuel truck? The fuel tank and injectors don't have to be changed. They alrady are oversixed.

Agreed. You can find the SC for under 7k at several stores.. so 2500 for install is steep. I paid just under 1200 total, including fluids. I'd keep shopping

I've had it for 3 months now and put almost 10k issue free miles on it. I followed the break-in procedure to the T and changed the oil with Amsoil at 2500 miles and just changed it again at 7500. I also fill it up with ethanol free 93 octane 90% of the time as opposed to 93 blend. The more I drive it, the more it seems to "learn" how to manage the extra torque and power that the super charger is giving it.

I actually gave it wot last night through all of the gears on an open road and it shifted like butter. When I did this a few weeks ago (on the same road, same conditions) it wasn't nearly as smooth. I've also towed with it a couple of times and it performed much better than my old 2012 which was outfitted the same minus a super charger.

So overall, I'm very satisfied and glad I pulled the trigger. Just real curious what programming Orange Virus and Magnuson come up with for the 2019.

    My old 2012...

Paid about $6600 for the SC direct from Toyota, and $900 plus fluid costs from dealership in San Diego to install.

I’m curious too. I called magnuson last week as was told that their supercharger is not ready for use in the 2019 yet. He said you can install it but there’s no tune for it. Basically said it will not run properly till the tune comes out.

THis is because Sparks uses a Unichip tune, not one from magnuson or bullydog. Apparently Unichip has figured out the 2019

Unichip is not a "tune". Its just an overlay that tricks your factory ecu into thinking that all the extra air and fuel coming in is okay. So its basically what the old TRD (still made by Magnuson) charger used called the "factory tune".

I trusted Sparks to do the install even though the 2019 isn't technically supported. They have more experience and insight into how the Magnuson and Toyota ecu interact than anyone out there. So after several conversations with multiple people there, I decided that it was okay to move forward.
