I recently had a super 40 series cat back dual in dual out installed 2.5”. It sounds awesome when you get on it but a lot of drone at certain rpm and a noticeable sound from what I’m assuming is back pressure. I hear it when letting off of the gas. My question is can I have an x pipe configuration added to the existing system after the fact and will it help with these issues of drone and loss of tq?

The lack of adequate back pressure is part of the problem... contact Keith @dirtydeeds

    Thanks for the mention.

when running stock exhaust manifolds you need single exhaust. Not dual exhaust. And thst single exhaust needs to exit thru the stock tailpipe.

our ‘standard systems’ do just that. They exit thru the stock tailpipe yet they remove the restrictive stock muffler in favor of our free flow design.
