You didnt notice anything because any power/mpg lost was replaced by 40 inches of ego/manpoints so if you do the math your still in the positive as far as I'm concerned haha

Yesterday I received my PowerBass XL-SBCON Remote for my soundbar. Its a waterproof remote that plugs in and is ran to the cab so that I can operate the soundbar (power, volume, Bluetooth function, song change) all from the palm of my hand. Still have the bar hooked up to the kill switch so that must be turned on first before there is power to the bar, but I'll be mounting this in the 3rd cup holder under the HUD this afternoon.

Previously, if I wanted to use the soundbar I had to jump in the bed of the truck to power it on (very annoying). I'll post a couple more pics of the finished product when I can.

Offical... I need to ditch the 3/2 and join the big boy lifts... only catch is wife is furious over me wanting the lift, callin it dumb and wasteful (what does she know lol).

hahaha.. so sorry to disappoint. I do plan on the 42s, but ill have to roll the fenders and do more on the BMC. May just wait and go full bulletproof for the 42s.

N I hate the waiting game on packages to show up I was suppose to have a new (louder) cat back show up last Monday and it now says this Friday

Howd you get that tubing attached across your bed?

 

• Well I’m a sucker for deals lol hopefully gonna get the rest figured out today. The tubing is actually chain link fence post I picked up from Home Depot. Didn’t have to cut or anything, exactly 65” so I had 1/4” to work with on both sides

 

Got the remote mounted for the sound bar. Finally take advantage of that 3rd cupholder lol Removed the console and drilled a .5” hole to run the cable. Then mounted the switch with some double sided 3M. Fits perfectly.

 

Here are a couple of pics I took if anyone is interested. Like I said, I'm not done/haven't figured out what I want to put in the space. I plan to replace the carpet or put an entire box there (obviously it wont look this shitty forever). Also, I still plan on cutting out the supports. You can see in one of the photos that I started a cut on the middle one, but the damn saw-zaw was too big to complete the cut. These bars are held down to the floor board by a single bolt (pictured) but other than for support (and maybe a little structural integrity) I don't see a reason to keep them.

The foam cut out to the bottom of the seat is about 6 inches. My current vision is to raise the seats in and throw another full size sub box in there, but that's TBD. I will eventually remove the foam further towards the bed of the truck as well, but I'm in no rush. Only thing that sits I the back seats is the doggo or golf clubs lol

For shits and gigs, I'll add this to my build page as well. lol

**PSA: Before anyone gets all snippy, I will keep this truck forever, so what I cut will not affect any future owners
