Hello has anyone installed subwoofers in a Tundra double cab and have it behind the rear seats? The only boxes I can find are for under the seats and I’m looking for one behind the seats because I use the space under the seats. Thank you

yes it is possible....whats your budget? also if you measure the distance behind your seat, I bet i can find a JL audio sub that'll fit nicely

How about a 10” sub. Under rear drivers side. I only used one side. Still have cargo box on the passenger side.

Pioneer website. Wanted something that hit hard but also was thin enough to stay in the side walls of the cargo box. Price shopped on Amazon than went to Best Buy and they beat the price by 10%

Can someone one refer a shop that can do it? I am located in the Bay Area. My only problem is I don’t have a place to work on the truck if I were to do it myself as well as no experience installing subs. I know which subs I wanna use which are 2; Rockford Fosgate P3D4 12inch. I’m not sure what amp to pick yet ( really to new subs ). and as for the box I can only find them for under seats, can anyone link me to where I can find it for behind the seats for double cabs. ( please make sure it’s for double cab and not crew cab). thanks a lot

I have this subwoofer in my DC and I must say I'm very satisfied with it. Mine came from Walmart who had them for less than everyone else.

I voted on this when you first posted and was pretty sure(98-99%) positive that you wouldn’t find one for behind the seats. There isn’t much space back there. I won’t guess a number because I haven’t had my seats out or even attempted to look back there. With that said maybe you could fit a couple 8’s... but I doubt it. I don’t mean to be a buzz kill and maybe someone will prove me wrong.

Is the want for subs greater then whatever you store under the seat? I had tools and recovery gear under there. It got moved to a tote in the bed in order to get two 12’s under there.

Yeah I’m more hoping to have it be able to fit in the back cus by just looking at it it doesn’t seem to have much space. Well maybe now I’ll just focus on what set up of sub/amps
