Hey guys, I just joined the forum because it has helped me so much. I am looking to put a subwoofer in my tundra. I have the crew max model with the back seats being on rails. I get that I can move the seats up to make room but I want something sleek and I don't want to lose a lot of back seat room to a huge sub box. Has anyone had any luck with sub boxes that fit or have dimensions for a box I can build. I also don't want to spend the $1000 on the Stealth box. Lol. Thank you

I won't say that this is the right way by any means but, I added a cheap slim self-amplified option from Amazon and an add-an-amp harness that is a plug and play into the back of the head unit. My rear seat is clicked forward one single click on the rail. Not the best sound I'm sure but it has served me well. There are a lot of slim options that will work just have to do a little measuring and imagining.

Lots of guys have much higher quality setups than I do but that is my experience for you.

I have a 10" shallow box from Rockford that does good by me. It will vibrate my rear view mirror. I got it on Amazon.

I have an 8” JL powered sub behind the seat. It’s not glass breaking. But it provides a good amount of bass.

My 10" will vibrate by rearview mirror. That is enough for me.

The 8” does too. I was surprised.
