Why do some SR5 TRDs come with the center console and some come with bench seat?

    I am probably wrong here,
    But from my limited knowledge....
when you purchase the SR5 package, your purchasing the bucket seats over the bench set-up...
    Is that not correct?

Appears its a $1220 option for buckets seats....huh

It's an additional package. SR5 is a trim level. The SR5 plus package costs like 1800 bucks or something like that and adds bucket seats, dimming rear view mirror and I believe the bigger gas tank. This is just from what I remember when I ordered mine last year.

I have a 2016 SR5 with bucket seats, auto dimming mirror but the shitty small gas tank

Isn't the bench seat and shifter on the column a Grade Model?

Both the SR and SR5 have a bench seat, but a SR5 package upgrade gives you bucket seats and console shifter and is worth it IMO.

Its the SR5 upgrade package. Includes bucket seat, driver side power seats, center console, factory alarm, auto dimming mirror with compass, and the homelink garage door opener. I know because I wish every single day that I had these... 38 gallon tank has nothing to do with this package.

I think I read that all the new 5.7's have the big boy tank.

This^^^ I got it when I bought mine along with upgraded aluminium 18in. wheels spray in bed liner and cargo tie down system. It's perfect for what I needed.
