Which is a better tire for on and off road use? Looking for a tire that's quiet on the highway but performs good in the mud/sand with an aggressive look. Thanks for yalls help :)

Just by looking at them I bet the ridge grappler is quieter. I have trail grapplers on mine and they are to noisey actually a pretty good tire but when they wear out I'll get the ridge grapplers

I'm going to guess RG's are probably quieter and slightly better on road and on ice. STT Pros are actually pretty quiet for such an aggressive MT and are probably better off road.

I bought them at discount. 295/70/18 for 290 a piece. Just waiting on the rims. I like the way the stt pros look though..... but we travel a lot on the highway so I might just stick with the ridge grapplers

The counterpart to STT Pro is Nitto Trail Grappler. Between STT Pro and RG, if you don't need aggressive mud tires, go with RG.

I love my Trail Grappler though. But the price of STT Pro is attractive.

I changed from the STT to the RG. I like the RG better.

The advantage of the Toyo R/T is it has a manufacturer warrant of 45k miles, the Ridge grapplers do not. I have the Ridge grapplers and love them, got the road hazard coverage at Discount Tire

Damn I paid $296 each for mine and I thought I got a good deal!

@Relentless had RG's on his when he had his Tundra, said they were the quietest aggressive AT's he'd had.

The Pro and R Grapplers are two different animals. The Pro is a M/T tire. The Pros' not "probably" better off road.....Better off road. I like my Pros' over my Nitto Trail Graps off road. The Ridge should be a decent
all terrain although I'd rather go with the STT Maxxs' for all terrain tire. IMO

I was also looking at the STT Maxx, but I don't think they came in the size I desired. Nice looking tire and good reviews from what I've seen as well.

I'm thinking those should fit quite nicely. A plus having 17" rims. More meat is always a good thing unlike the OEM Vegan Duelers......that are crap...

Let me know how you like those Ridge Grapplers compared to the Duratracs. I have Duratracs now and do like them, but thinking of going with the RGs next. Problem is I can get the Duratracs for $200 cheaper (for 4) than the RGs - size 275/70R18.

Main reason i was changing from the Duratracs is they are load rating D. I wanted to try an E. Also they are a smaller 34" diameter where the RGs are closer to 35.

Yep they do. Only have a few listed on the website under accessories at the moment but a quick call to David will expand that list.
