I took my tundra into the dealership yesterday to get a little TLC done. They will be popping out a couple dings and cleaning my seats.

Anyways, my twin brother works out of town so I stole his F-150 (i'm sure he wont mind too much) lol

    :smack:

    couple comparisons:

    -mag grey like yours truly
-2016 crew cab with the v6 ecoboost turbo
-bullydog chip, blow off valve and runs 93 octane
-RC 6" lift with 2'' struts spacers in the front, bilstein shocks all around
-20x14 wheels on 35x12.5 all terrain
-3" BORA wheel spacers (three, tres, T H R E E) I think its something like -115 offset or something lmao

    1. this thing gets up and goes. no problem spinning the 35's if I want to.

    2. the bullydog tune seems to be badass.. throttle response, revs, 40-70mph is crazy. he would dust my 5.7 on 37's. makes me want to get that DAP tune and see what its all about. also he gets around 15-17mpgs.

    3. rides rough as all hell. he is replacing the UCAs soon with Icons I believe, so cant dog him too much for that. but even on my 37'' mud terrains, the ride is much smoother. also think it has something to do with the spacer lift on the front.

    4. turning in the thing is a nightmare because the tires rub so much haha he loves the look, but its gotta be a pain in the ass as an everyday driver.

    5. I love the HUD and the console of the ford. that's one thing I don't like as much about my tundra. but I have seen the 2018s and the HUD looks very new and improved.

    6. it is spacious and the foldup back seats make me a little jealous as well.

overall: my brother and I have similar taste, hes just a tad more extreme. the truck is a lot of fun to drive, even though its a v6. I think the turbo makes a big difference. not a fan of the super heavy negative offset, but to each his own.

Id still take a tundra any day of the week, despite my 9mpgs :notsure:

Once you get behind the wheel of someone else's ride, you appreciate a few more things, whether it be on your truck or theirs. Everyone has their reasons for making their ride the way they want, and what the owner wants is what really matters.

Here is a comparison and a couple pics of his truck

Just supercharge your tundra. I can burn 35's in 3rd gear on the highway in my truck.

That was a great comparison on the two trucks. I've owned a turbo before and they are not to be underestimated. I bought my truck last February and test drove the F 150 but the overall interior comfort didn't seem as nice a "fit" as the Tundra. I have owned both a F 150 in the past (2005) supercrew lariat back in 05 and traded it in 09 bought a new 08 2nd gen tundra 2wd dc. His truck looks good and I'm sure he loves it but i'll stick with the Tundra. Also please get with your friends and family and stage an intervention about those tires sticking out. Not a good look. o_O

Im running 37x13.5 tires, 22x12s with -44 offset , which is a very common offset on high lifted trucks. but much more than that, you run into problems. I barely have any rubbing at full lock after a little trim of the bumper.

but like I said, everyone is entitled to their opinions. :notsure:

Nothing that Duck tape can't fix, although when you remove the Duck tape be careful not to rip a hole in the aluminum. May need to buy a new door...
